My snake poops on me EVERY SINGLE TIME I HOLD HIM!! and he's almost fully grown now and his poops are worse than my dogs, does anyone have ANY suggestions about what i should doo?? PLEASE HELP MEE!!!!!!
:punch:

Dick has a great suggestion! lol

Wait for him to poop before you hold him
Have a paper towel ready and set him over it when he needs to go
Trade him for a poopless snake

Don't hold him!

That's obviously not the answer. If he's pooping on you when you hold him, it means he's stressed out or frightened. Have you had him for very long? How often do you handle him? Do you wash your hands before holding him? It could be that you have some scents on your hands (like a dog or other pet) that scare him. Is it a calm environment when you take him out of the cage, or are there a lot of people around? It's hard to give you some suggestions without more details.

My male snake does the same thing every time my oldest son holds him (and only him)...we call him the poopinater lol. "Larry" doesn't seem stressed at all, guess when nature calls, nature calls. I'm not a pro though, only had corns for a month now but Larry has never seemed stressed from being held at all, he prefers it actually.

We make sure not to hold him for at least 48 hrs after being fed and we also don't try to handle him if he seems uninterested. When wanting to handle him we open up his terranium and let him come to us. So in my inexperience I'd say your snake just had to go. Larry usually has 2-3 poos between feeding (he's 5yrs and 5 ft, and feeds every 7 days on adult frozen mice).

Forgot to mention, we ALL wash before and after thorouly (sp?) before and after handling. I'm a hand washing freak.

Someone mentioned in an earlier thread that maybe the temp of your hands (98.6F) vs the lower temp of the heating pad (85F) sparks their urge to do the deed

The temps on the body are all different; CORE body temp is around 98.6. I'm usually 99.2-99.5. However, just the tongue is only about 85F, so imagine our hands are around that or even cooler.

Anyway, I suggest a warm bath (range about 80-88F). The bath tub is good for bigger ones. I get the water to a certain temp as it comes out of the facet, then let it fill up. I also check with my hand that the water temp is consistent. Also, if you have it on the warmer side, it doesn't hurt to let it sit for about 5 minutes. Just remember to give the snake a spot where it doesn't have to keep swimming.
