Possible corn snake infection?

Hi all, this is my first post but I've been lurking for quite some time. I really appreciate all the information I've found here.

I've had my red corn snake for 3 years, he was 4' long when we got him but has grown to ~5'. We think he is like 6-8 years old. After probing 2 years ago, the vet is not 100% sure if his sex. His tank is properly setup with a range of 75-85 degrees although the humidity had been fairly low (its winter time). Low humidity has never changed his behavior in the past few winters, so I do not think it is related.

After shedding last month, he was not at all interested in eating. Usually he'll take 1 large mouse (sometimes 2) every 7-10 days. Usually he is a good eater, I just put the thawed mouse on a plate in his tank and he slithers over and sucks it down, sometimes for fun I'll hold it by the tail and he'll strike it...sometimes he'll strike it on the plate before he gobbles it up.

A few weeks later, I offered him another mouse today and he is completely uninterested. He is also very restless, constantly slithering around and trying to escape.

Figuring he is bored, I took him out and played with him. While slithering around my shoulders he kept flexing weird, so I put him in his tank expecting him to poop. His tail lifted slightly and his flap thing opened but he secreted a small amount of white cream mucus with possibly a little blood in it.

Last time he refused food was 2 years ago, he became really sick with loose stool and required antibiotic injections and tube feeding to get healthy...blood testing and ultrasound was inconclusive...since then he has eaten and shed like normal.

Anyhow, does it sound like he is sick? He is very active, just not interested at all in eating. Maybe I should just wait another 2 weeks and try feeding again?

He's in breeding mode. The weird tail lift was him ejecting his sperm plugs in preparation to mate, which means you definitely have a male. Try again in two weeks. He may refuse for a while. Sometimes they get so distracted by the breeding season that they seem to completely forget about eating.
