Possible hemipenes injury?

Hey guys! A few days ago I have brought my juvenile corn to the reptile shop to sex it. It is around 160 gram. What happened at first is that person tried to pop my snake. He couldn't pop anything so I saw him using more and more force to do so. He gave up eventually and used the probing method. It was found that my corn is a boy. My corn is completely fine now. Eating, drinking, pooping as usual.

My question is will this potentially hurt my corn and make him fully lose the reproductive ability? And also anyone have the experience of causing injury to the snake when popping inappropriately? I know at this age it is not good to pop the snake but I didn't stop that person atm. I only have a pair of corn snakes so I am kind of worry about it.

Thank you!

If you are not sure of someone's ability I would not let them learn on my babies. I would try to find a herp vet.

But on a good note your little fella seems okay.

I would keep an eye on him for awhile.

I hope your description of force didn't mean excessive force. Kathy Love shows how to pop a corn successfully on a video. A lot of force is not needed, but the proper technique is required. I would be more concerned if the person was able to force the hemipenes out and the male couldn't retract them. It doesn't sound like any damage has been done.
