Possible Regurge?

I went to clean my cornsnakes tank the other day, and noticed a dead pinky rat in the corner of his cage. It's skin was greyish, and it had been a week since I fed him. ( I usually feed 2 medium pinky rats ). The other rat I'm almost positive he ate, because as soon as I put him back in his cleaned re-bedded cage, he took a small poop right in front of me ( Haha. ) I do feed my snake in his cage, but not on the substrate so he doesn't accidently ingest it. I put the food into a shoebox, which is then placed inside his cage, and then I put the snake in the box, and leave him to his business. The sheobox is open ofcourse, so he can get out when he's finished. Is it possible he just dragged one out and left it? It didn't LOOK like it'd been puked up really, just like it was left to rot because he lost interest. Now the questions : Is it plausible the snake only puked up one rat, and digested the other? Or is it more likely he ate one and flung the other one out for whatever reason? It doesn't seem likely to me that he'd only throw one up, but like any loving parent I'm concerned, so I figured I'd ask you guys. I don't plan on feeding him a full sized meal this week, just one small pinky mouse, in case it was a regurge to be on the safe side.

sounds like if he did regurge it was very very very quicky after swallowing. I'd vote that it was simply set aside by your guy and then left for dead, (no pun intended). I haven't had experience with regurge but my understanding was that it was a bit more torn up, icky-fied, smellyliscious, etc.

That's what I thought, some sort of pink smelly mass. But his looked pretty much the same when I fed it, only a week old.

mine once regurged one of 2 pinkies. You could really smell it. It was pretty digested as well. If the skin is intact I wouldn't think regurge after a week.
Maybe only feed one the next go round instead of two.

I think he just regurged in the same 10 mins, or just flung it over the side. If it was in his stomach for more than a few days it would be all super gross, right? Either way, his next meal is going to be a small one.
