Post shed jitters?

ciara

three corns and counting
My Tovi just had his first shed. Gave him a shed box, had no issues. Everything came off fine, from the tail to the eye caps. He shed sometime last night. However, when I went to pick him up today to examine him and make sure all the shed came off, he was much more aggressive than usual, and harder to catch. He was fed on Tuesday, so I doubt he's that hungry again already. Anyone have any thoughts?

I have several corns and have found that some of them are a bit more flighty/antsy for the first day or two after shedding, as if they are a bit more sensitive to touch, which I suppose makes sense, as they have just revealed a new skin. I think it is perfectly normal though, if you give him a day or two, he'll probably be back to his normal self :)

Hope that sets your mind at rest,

Thanks for the reassurance! He's actually much calmer today, though that might have to do with the fact that he got fed and is more interested in a warm spot to digest than anything else. ;)
