Five days is quite soon to be worrying really. Sometimes they can take a week or more over a clutch. That's not normal, but it isn't unknown either. Must admit I'd have been inclined to leave her for a while longer (unless you saw some deterioration in her overall condition).
Oxytocin is always a bit of a gamble. Its function is to trigger or increase uterine contractions. One possible outcome is that it just makes the snake clamp down harder on the eggs and makes the problem worse. My vet tends not to use it. He says it really only works early in the process and if the eggs are near the vent - at which point, there probably isn't an issue!
The calcium shot is a great idea. For some reason it can revive some really far gone snakes. It's a great pick-me-up and should do your lady a lot of good.
I've had females need surgery for eggbinding. With both, the vet found that they had one ginormous egg inside them that was causing a blockage - so big (2-3 times a normal egg size) that there was no chance of them laying it naturally.
Sorry you're having to go through all this trauma at your first attempt. It's a nerve-mangling process even when it goes well. Keep us posted on what the vet finds. Fingers crossed for you.
