probing and popping, question

So today after 2 years of owning corns and watching the sexing videos a hundred times i successfuly attempted to sex my 4 subadults (read somewhere that popping is FORBiTTEN in corn snakes above 50-60cm as you may damage the hemipenes, any truth to it?)

It turns out that i have 3 females and 1 male. :D
(from the tails it looked as if i had 2.2)

I also attempted to pop my baby corns but unsuccessfuly... only managed to do it once although i tried again and again.. (months appart)
i think i am afraid that i may accidentaly hurt them...
i watched the videos including Kathy Love's
so far my baby corns are believed to be 1.1.1 the male was sexed but i dont know what i did differently, and worked :p
the female was sexed infront of me when i purchased her this Sunday. and the other remains to be seen as i couldnt see clearly when the breeder sexed her and i dont really believe or trust them. (Last time someone was selling a 4y.o male snow as a female and when i told him that it was a male he tried to convince me it was a female by ''popping'' it but instead of preesing from the tail towards the vent, he was pressing from the belly towards the vent.

any tips on the popping? as my friend has a clutch cooking (43 more days to go!!)

thanks and sorry for the novvel that i wrote!!

well i did see the probing live before i tried from a friend (has around 50-60 snakes and more than 10 years experience) but he didnt know about popping.
