I just got Mars last week at the Sacramento Reptile convention. He is in a plastic hatchling tub(the shoebox kind) with paper towels as substrate. The temps are 85 degrees on the warm side and 78 on the cool. Today I was doing my daily check on my snakes and I noticed that Mars has a kinds kink in his back. He didn't have it yesterday. I picked him up and it almost look like his back had a spasm but them couldn't straigten out. What should I do? he has not eaten yet with me but the lady I bought him from said that he ate 5 times with her and was born july 27th. Heres a normal picture, I don't have a picture of his kink yet.

Well, Mars passed away last night. We did everything we could to try and get him to eat. He was so healthy and active when we got him a week ago.

I got him from a table at the Sacramento Reptile show. The tables name was Insecta Culture, but they didn't give me any contact info. I tried looking it up oneline but couldn't find anything.

Sorry to hear about your snake. Look up the show manager on line and e-mail them for contact info on the breeder from whom you bought your snake. He will have the contact info on all his vendors.

OH NO!!!! poor you, it's horrid when animals die, he looked a lot like my snake bob (but of course my snakes far more handson, just kidding he was gorgeous), hope you have more luck with the next one!
