hi there guys n gals, i was having a check over my corn (i do this once every two weeks) and i noticed he was breathing heavily or pulsating as such and was just wondering should i look into it or is it a common thing.
he seems happy and normal.

You only check on your snake every 2 weeks?

Aside from that....I'd say we will need a little more info to make any sort of guess as to what's happening.

Age, Weight, last feed, etc...
 
It's perfectly normal to be able to see your snake breathing. I can always see the sides moving on my snakes if I know which spot to look at. Sometimes I even feel their sides moving against my hands. Unless your corn is showing any signs of respiratory distress (gaping mouth open, wheezing or clicking sounds, etc) I wouldn't personally be at all concerned.
 
i get him out whenever i can around three times a week but i give him a thoughrer look over every two weeks.
had him at the end of december hes a regular feeder but ive never actually weighd him. what sort of weight am i looking for?
and he isnt gasping or any thing so i guess he should be fine
 
Most people weigh there snakes in grams with a food scale. I got my snake about the same time you did and he is 48 grams (of course that doesn't mean our snakes are the same age so the comparison is useless. ;)
