so this may be very random and odd but me and my friends were discussing popes today and they said there was a 12 year old pope but i was wondering how that would work because i though you had to be like a cardinal or something to be able to get chosen to be the pope. so my question is how do they determine the pope and how is it possible that there was like an 18 year old pope?
 
My friend, you do not even WANT to get into the technicalities and loopholes of the Catholic religion. TRUST ME. I was raised Catholic, including going hard core Catholic school (with nuns teaching and everything). :grin01:

congrats.. lol yah im pretty not religious like even relatively but they interest me in how they came to be and how people come up with things like that and i figured id see if anyone knew a simple way of putting it...
