I'm just wondering if its OK to feed my female she had her pre-lay shed 3 days ago and its feeding day. She is moving around her viv alot I'm not sure if shes looking for a place to lay or if she is hungry (this is usually how she acts on feeding day). The last meal i offered her she refused(a first) but i hate to feed the others and leave her to starve( I know she can smell the mice) just wondering.

It's my understanding that some breeders will offer smaller prey items to gravid females willing to eat. The smaller item should pass through her egg-cramped digestive system easier.

If your girl is willing to eat, I should think it wouldn't hurt to offer her something.

Good luck. :)
