Radiated rat snake

I have a few Asian rat and beauty species. My Trinket (same species as your radiated) is super chill ! The others on the other hand are lively to say the least :)

I have 3 corns and they were my first snakes. I tell you it is a big difference on the speed and aggression between them. I've been struck at by my baby corns and just laughed at how funny it is.
On the other hand my radiated is nippy tried biting me thru the delivery tub it was sent in and is so fast that when I opened the container up inside her viv she got out of the viv before I could close the lid. I chased her around the room for at least 30 mins. Finally cornering her in the closet corner while she was s shaped up and striking.

Does any know if she will tame down at all? I would really like to be able to show her off more outside her viv because she Is so bright and beautiful. If not I won't mind because I find it kind of exciting but I also don't want to stress her.

Radiated rats are not a beginner snake or for the faint of heart LOL
They are fast. Get big (long). They're cool because in a Viv they like to watch you.
I have found that little contact and keeping them in a Viv with the sides covered to give them a better feeling of security works best to start them out. Keep contact to a minimum for a few months except for feeding, water and cleaning. Then slowly start to handle them once a week. Increase handling according to his reaction. Patience will pay off :)
No matter how calm you get them I suggest always keep him away from your face.
Asian rats are rewarding snakes. Most of mine are hand able. My trinket is a very calm snake.

Thanks for the advice I'll post more pictures after she settles in a little more and only pics inside the Viv lol any advice on substrate I heard use something mossy and damp it down to hold the humidity.
