Reliable information about Hots? (cobras in particular)

Alli_Draggy

Wadjet's family
Alli has picked Egyptian Cobras as a topic for her research paper, and we're having a hard time finding much. We checked out the ONE book that our local library has on Venomous snakes that included cobras, and found a couple of general snake books, but they mostly include the King Cobra, which isn't even a true cobra. TEL searching mostly turned up articles on the Bronx Zoo Cobra and a few abstracts on snake venom research. I'd rather not teach her to rely on Wikipedia, but it's about as comprehensive as we've found.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd be willing to pay for database access if there's a good one.

Thank you-she's very into the history side (it's how Wadjet got her name :) ). I think that's where the fascination with the species comes from.

Not as long as she's living under MY roof! I draw the line at anything with fangs or that has the potential to see my house cats as prey animals ;).
