Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

Removing SOLD ads

No one can own just one
Is there a system in place to remove ads once the listed items are no longer available? Each time I go through the ads, I find listings that just say "SOLD" as the last response. Some listings are two months old, but haven't had activity for a month or more. If the animal is still available, the ad should be updated. If not, shouldn't the ad be removed? If the animals are gone, why keep the ad in place? There are other forums for pictures and user introductions.

Can the moot ads be either removed by the moderator, or email sent to the advertising user, reminding them to remove the ad once the items are sold out? Is there an expiration date on inactive classifieds? Should there be one?
