If you think someone post a helpful thread or responce or just happen to like it for some reason, you can give that person a rep point. Also as your post count increases you get a rep point every so often.
 
I'm not 100% sure but.....Its your Reputation on the site.it matters what you say on the forums. if people like what you say they can get you "Good Reputation" or "bad Reputation". the more you have everyone knows your a really good member.

(Again I'm guessing lol because the only thing i own that has a online "Rep power" thing is my xbox 360 lol if you have allot your a nice play if not your a bad one lol only thing i have to go on :rolleyes: )
