I should add, in the "about us" section they say they will actually give you a copy of the live animal waver to ship snakes, which was one of the major beefs with SYR...
 
I applied and got approved within 24 hrs. They never called though. And I haven't tried using them yet. Still plan on getting Fedex Cert. eventually.
 
I've been following that thread pretty closely and I have seen nothing but good things said about them. If I remember correctly someone on here helped them test everything out. They do recommend for now though to use a UPS HUB and not a UPS store since stores are independently owned. Which is understandable. It will take some time for news to trickle down.

I think that's the kicker for me - I like my local UPS store more than my local FedEx store for shipping snakes... my local UPS people have never given me grief about my snake boxes, in fact they think they are cool. The fedex people seem to think they don't even ship perishable items, muchless harmless snakes! But I haven't shipped since the end of last year, maybe the staff is a little different now :)

Yeah it really depends on each individual store. You dont know until you try but its good to know where the HUB is incase you need it as a backup.
