Retained infertile eggs

Hi...as I was cleaning my 11 year old (what I thought) was male corn's tank, I discovered 9 slugs....all dried out. It's the first time that's happened. she wouldn't eat...first time too, so I took her to the vet's who took an xray...she had 9 more inside. He gave her pictosin and a calcium injection. Hopefully it will help her pass them...My question is....would they be as hard as the ones in the tank, and what are the chances she'd be ok afterwards? Is surgery a common option for this? thanks !

She should be fine just do what the vet tells you to do and make sure she looks comfortable and is not stressed

Thank you...I never expected to find that in the tank, since I never bred her. The eggs might have been in her since the last time I fed her (2 weeks) . I hope she has a painless delivery....and is ok....!
