Rodent Pro shipping prices go up?

It's that time to order again and I went on to order 100 hoppers. It calculates shipping at 30.00! I know I didn't pay that much for shipping 4 months ago. Anyone else run into this problem. Also, the total cost for 100 hoppers is 60.00.

Anywhere I can get some cheaper? Just curious!

I'm not a fan of Rodent Pro but alas that sounds about right to me. $30 for a 100 hoppers and around $30 for shipping.

Keep in mind with rising gas prices, shipping costs are going up as well.

I dunno Howie, that doesn't sound right to me, I just ordered a couple weeks ago, 50 pinks, 100 fuzzies, and 50 hoppers, and shipping was only like $28. You might want to email Kevin about that. :shrugs:

LOL...only $2 difference there. Why does that not sound right? He's looking at $30 for shipping and you got charged $28 for shipping. (He lives farther from Indiana.)

Rodent Pro charges $30 for 100 hoppers.

$30 for mice + $30 for shipping = $60

I guess...I'm just not getting it? Seems normal to me.

Q

[EDIT] (hehe...gotta love that) Also keep in mind most of the overnight/2nd Day carriers are charging dimentionally now and not by actual weight. (You get charged how much room the package takes up.)

LOL at your edit Quigs. :grin01: I WAS thinking about the weight, that's why I thought it wasn't right, forgot that their charging by dimension now instead. Always on the ball you are. (Sounds like something Yoda would say doesn't it? ROFL)

I live in Indiana, and my shipping is still in the $28 range...which is part of why RP tells you how much of the box you're filling up. When I surfed around before, I couldn't find better shipping prices except for the company that lets you do pickups in Texas. For smaller quantities, it might be cheaper to buy frozen feeders at shows. I go in with friends and we try to fill a box when we shop - you might be able to do something similar if you know other herpers in your area. Either way, $60 is less than the $100+ those hoppers would cost at most pet stores.
