Most of my snakes are only eating pinkies and fuzzies, but one I think is ready to step up from 2 fuzzies to a hopper or weanling. Everytime I've had to go to that size, I have trouble putting the mice down because they are so cute to me at that stage.
With my 2 adults (soon to be 3:) ), I don't have any prob since it's the mice I didn't like that get designated as snakefood.

Anybody ever have a twinge of guilt or feel sad when you put feeders down?

When I had just pink-eyed whites, no problems, but since adding coloured mice into the colonies............luckily my local petshop lets me trade a bunch of pretty ones for mouse food every now and then.

I don't enjoy it one bit.. But I know the kids need to eat..
