LIVIN' THE PUG LIFE
Hello!.. I'm trying to understand the real story here. I have to admit I'm a little confused as to what the differences are (if any)
I've seen explanations of salmon snows as AKA coral snow..which implies they are the same morph with different names. However they are called salmons because they come from specific lineage (ie SMR, JMG)
However I've also read that they have different genes, that the salmon carries strawberry which accounts for the extra pink it shows, and corals have just hypo. Which technically makes them NOT the same as a coral snow...
So my best guess is that a salmon snow is a coral snow that was given the strawberry gene?
Any help in helping me understand this would be greatly appreciated as I'm interested in breeding salmons and coral, but would like to fully understand what I'm breeding.
Thanks! <3
