Scrape on head

Hi guys, looking for some advice. My amel seems to have got a small scrape on her head. It looks like a layer of scale has flaked off. The closest thing I can compare it to is when a layer of fingernail comes off. She has not shed yet and doesn't appear to be in blue.
 
a picture would help? but i also had this problem not so long ago.. i soaked her in a tub with room temp water let her crawl through a towel but nothing.. i just left it in the end and after a few sheds she was fine :) x
