Seperate feeding containers.

Just plain corn nuts!
Those of you that use a seperate feeding container for your snakes might be able to answer this question.

Do you use a different container for each snake?

The reason I ask is because of recent events that have happened to me. I've had a snow for about 2 months. I have the feeding container for her. I recently bought 2 new snakes, and when it was time to feed them, I put them in the same container, one after the other, that I had been using for the snow. They both ate without problems. I put my snow in to feed her and she acted like she wanted out desperately. She has never done this before. She refused to eat, and she deposited some urates near the head of the pinky. Again, something she has never done.

Last night, I bought a new feeding container for the 2 newer snakes. I fed the first one and she ate fine. I put the second in the container and he refused his food, and deposited urates on the face of the fuzzy. Odd coincidence, or something else?

I would be interested in what some more experienced keepers have to say about this. I have been doing the same thing since Sept. and didn't have a problem until just in the last month. First, my female and just the other night, my male butter mots. The female is the one I'm having problems with feeding altogether right now, but JoeP has sent me some Flagyl, and she is due to eat a pinky head tonight, so we'll see about her. But the male first did the brown/urates thing last feed AFTER he ate, and the other night refused to feed at all. ?????????????????

I have 2 groups of containers, about 6 for my Corns and 3 for my Kings, which I keep separated obviously. I do not have any issues with snakes eating out of the same containers. I rinse them out about every two weeks. I should note that I do not have any shy or problem feeders. My corns will eat anywhere, anytime, even in my hand.
If I only had 3 or 4 snakes, I would maybe have individual feed boxes.
