Hi
I'm new to owning reptiles, my boyfriend and I have a basilisk but he's the one reptile experience. But anyway i was looking into getting a corn snake so realizing they were from the southeast states I wanted to make a full terrarium with native plants because i love the plants from that area. I was wondering if this would be a problem with cleaning. Any suggestions? Thanks :)

I have never tried to use live plants for a terrarium, but hobby stores like Michael's and Hobby Lobby have a variety of fake plants that work well and our cheaper than "terrarium" plants from pet stores.

True but i want to set something up with live plants. I'm a botany student so I thought real plants would be a fun interesting project. But would it not work with cleaning or something along those lines?

I have live plants in mine for 4 months. Gabriel was 3 weeks when I got him now he his 5 months and about 20" and size of finger around and haven't had a problem but probably will when he gets bigger. I have an 8" round patch of club moss, a 14" snake plant and the potho is now about 36-40" long
