Well I had an interesting day at work. I spent the day sitting up in a 50' tower and saw two different Timber Rattlesnakes cross roads about 100 yards from me and later on a Cottonmouth, possibly a Banded Water Snake crossed another road about 70 yards in front me. To top it off, when I drove out I saw a small Copperhead on the road. The batteries in my camera were dead of course and the other snakes to far away....
Also saw one Black Rat Snake, but that was anticlimatic after the Rattlers...
We've had a lot of rain due to Ernesto last week and this was the first nice day we've had in a while. I guess they are starting to faten themselves up for winter too.
