this may sound like a silly question.. but here goes! i have a snow, so i can't tell he's about to shed by the blue eyes.. though i have noticed his eyes look a little more red that usual. he's shed once before, but it happened so fast i didn't even realize he was going to do it until he was pulling his skin off right in front of me! right now his scales look funny, so i'm wondering is this becayse he's about to shed? his last shed was april 20th, so is it too soon for him to be doing it again?

my only concern is that it's been aweful hot here lately, and i don't know if that's why he looks stange :/ at least it's been plenty humid! won't have to worry about a partial shed. :|

The eyes should still turn blue even if it has red eyes right? Because the scale over his eye is beginning to fade and loosten from the body.

When an amel. is in shed, its red eyes just lighten up and do not totaly turn blue. The only way I can tell if my snow is in shed is if the eyes lighten up. A regular amel's body color lightens up a little durring shed, but you can hardly see it in a snow. :)
