Snake not moving

I bought a new snake this saturday morning and put him in his tank. He crawled around for about half an hour then he hid and after that he hasent move. I was gonna leave him alone for awile but today I just had to see if he was alive or not, so I toughed him a little and he dident move, so I touched him again and then i lifted his head up but thats all. Is this normal or not? I'm a bit worried, I never had any problems with my first snake.

When I bought a new snake and put her in the new cage, she didn't move a lot for the first few days. Your snake could probably just be stressed out. Snakes are also nocturnal so they really don't move during the day.

He havent almost moved position or anything. Do you think I should wait too feed him til he's moved around a bit? Cause the pet-store said he hadent eaten for awile because I was to pick him up and they dident want him to barph (I dont know how to spell regurtiat)
