Snake won't eat - How long before I panic?

I've had my Snoopy for a week and a half now and he shows absolutely no interest in F/T pinkies. He'll look at them and carry on with his business. I've kept him in a small container overnight with the pinky on Sunday night and he didn't touch it. I've tried putting a small container in his viv all night as well.

I got him on a Friday and tried to feed that Sunday night and then again last Sunday night.

I'll try another pinky this coming Sunday night and then start panicking

I take him out maybe once every three days to handle him and give him frsh water every other day. the viv temp is about 75-80 on cool side and 85-90 on warm side!

Is it too soon after 2 weeks to panic? The pet store told me he ate three times there (in about 2 weeks) but they couldn't get it to eat in front of me unfortunetaly. I'm starting to wonder if they're just lieing to me... I've trusted them for a while with their fish but this is my first reptile.

Perhaps the best advice in my opinion is to stop handling completely until your corn is eating. The handling is an added stress that a non-feeder doesn't need, so only take the snake out to put in the feeding tub, leave somewhere dark and quiet overnight and resist the urge to check on the snake. If this week's feed doesn't succeed you could try a day-old live pink next week, it often kick-starts the feed response for you. Hope this helps

Also lower your viv temps, if you can. They should be around 70 on the cool side and around 80 on the warm side.

Thanks for the help

I lowered the temp to around 80 on the warm side
Not much I can do about the cool side though but it must be around 75. Either way, he never hides on the warm side, whatever the temp is, he stays in his log all day and only comes out at night

I'll leave him alone all week then and try to feed this sunday. I think I'll go for a live pinky since i'm all out and they're pretty much the same price as F/T.

How long will the pinky live?

also if you use the SEARCH function.. you will find LOTS of good threads.
