How can I tell if Little Dani is doing either one? He is making this sound I can't make out what it is, he has no runny nose just this sound that sounded at first like a sneeze, but now I'm not sure. He was out last night no problems, tonight when I first pulled him out he did it & then a few times after, so they came in clusters. But not very often, just often enough for concern, since he is a quiet guy, I chked all temps everything is perfect. He was on the warm side of the viv tonight. He's not in blue & feeding time is tomorrow night. He is weighing in at 80g now @ 7mths.
Weird thing is my girls today came down w/ the stomach flu, the same thing Dalton had 5 days ago. Can we pass something like this to our little guys & not know it?? :shrugs:

Any advice welcomed & I can see his vet tomorrow if I need to.
 
I don't think there'd be any danger of a zoonosis in this case, influenza has been found in mammals other than man and in birds (here's a quick link)

(Even the salmonella/reptile link is pretty much totally avoidable through handwashing)
He could have loose skin in his nostrils or a little pre-shed swelling, but some snakes are noisy anyway

He was out tonight & fed & no sounds. He is active & loving as always. :) So I guess its just a noise they make. I have never personally heard anything out of him, Banana, or Shine (my banded King). Now Grason & Cindy I have heard them hiss before striking. So I assume he was sneezing maybe to my lotion on my arms? Hmmmm guess I will never know. It was cute though.
