This is my new little man, he hasn't got a name yet as I haven't had him sexed yet. (By the way, how big can they get until popping is no longer a method to sex them?) I know someone who can pop him, would wanna watch someone do it before I try it myself...

Also, am I right in that if I bred him with an amel stripe I would get amel strp babies? Snow is Caramel x Anery...? :shrugs:

That's a pretty baby you have there!

If you bred those two, you'd get amel stripes het anery (because snows are amel anery corns and not amel caramels).

I've never used that calculator before (always used http://www.corncalc.com/). But that's cool that they've got the trade names already calculated in there. Does it stay updated?

I just added it's not so long ago when someone posted it. It seems to be easier to use that why I give out the link. I was using the one you posted.

Pretty snake! So, if you bred him to an amel stripe, you would definitely get amel stripe babies, but you might also get half of your clutch being snow stripe babies if the amel stipe is het for anery, which would not be surprising. Snow is a amel / anery combination, and both parents must carry both genes in order to produce them. I think your little one might be too big to pop. I have tried on definite males about that size without it working. Any size can be probed, though. Good luck!
