OK. So I thought I ought to vent some. Maybe somefolks here will understand how I feel. So a while back I gave a friend some of my mice. I asked her then what she was going to do with the babies. She told me she would give them back to me and would not bring them to the pet store. Well about a week n a half ago her mice had babies. She has 4 in total a 1.3...So I went to the pet store today to think of getting a pal for my anole and some new mice. Well one of the workers there I know showed me some really nice long hairs that were shipped in pregnant. And then she showed me some mice that were brought in by a girl the other day and I looked at the mice and well and behold. THEY WERE MY MICE. The mice I gave to my friend. I had heard when her mice had babies and told my friend that told me this that I did not want the babies what so ever goign to the pet store. She did :twoguns:

Well I phoned my friend, the one I gave my mice, and she was not there. So tomorrow I'm going to call her again. I want my mice back. I also heard today from my cousin that her parents knew nothing about these mice. Now I'm royally mad. Thank god I got my mice from the pet store. My friend gave them back to me free of chage. I was happy.

Wow...longest post I've ever left. And thanks for listening folks. I neededto vent so dang much. OH and if some of you are wonder "How do you know thay were your mice?" Easy I notched my female mices ears on one side and males on the other. And if my mice have patterns I mark them Down and rty and remember them all.
 
Well I'm sorry your 'friend' was dishonest with you but your post left me wondering...

Why would you notch your pets ears? Surely mice are easy enough to sex at a glance and don't need their ear flap slashed??

I hope this issue gets resolved for you.
 
Why would I notch my mice's ears. Easy half if not most of my mice are long hairs. So it makes it harder after awhile. I can sex them and tell how many of what I have and so on. But I find it so much easier knowing i can look at their ears to know whats what. As for my issue I called her again after I left the post AGAIN, and she wasn't there so after a while today i'm going to try calling her again.
 
Do you have caller ID, Maybe she sees your number and is not answering it. That is not a very good friend if shes going to Lie to you.

I have caller ID but she doesn't. I'll be calling her again here soon.
