Something For The Kids

My company is going to be doing something very unique and cool this year. Your kids for those that have them, can call in and talk to Santa. This is a toll free call.

Wilkesboro, NC, December 9, 2008 – On Sunday, December 14th from 2 – 4 pm, Carolina West Wireless (CWW) will be accepting calls to Santa Claus. The toll-free number, 1-800-234-1479 or # SANTA from a Carolina West Wireless phone, gives children a direct line to Santa’s workshop in the North Pole.

When children call the free number, they will be greeted by one of Santa’s merry elves, who will then patch them through to the big man himself. Once Santa gets on the line, kids can tell the jolly fellow everything that’s on their Christmas wish list.

I think the kids will love it.

aww thats so sweet.... makes me wanna cry.... thats really a sweet thing for ya'll to do... especially when the economy is falling apart.... some parents cant take their kids to see santa.. but talking on the phone has got to be the next best thing... i'm sure it'll make alot of kids days :)

That's such a cute idea! I may have to pass that on to my neighbors for their 6 year old kid!!!

Thanks folks and please do we'll have around 100 "Santas" there to talk to the kids. I'll be calling in for my cousins. I won't be participating but I will be helping spread the word.

i love how technology has advanced to the point where you can just call santa instead of 'visiting' him at the mall :)
haha<3
maybe in the future they'll let kids send emails to him? :D

Emails are sooooo 1998; they'll either text him on their own phones, or link him to the wish list they've posted on their MySpace page. ;)

Just got the final numbers from that. We fielded about 8000 calls today for children from Santa, calls came from all over the US and other countries as well. What an awesome job.
