Oh I don't smash them, that's somebody elses job. Typically my daughter or my boyfriend. I had a fear of spiders before going to Iraq but they way freak me out now.
 
At least be nice and hand them the tool to smash it with lol

The funny thing is I am always the one getting bugs and also throwing crickets at my friend when he's deafly afraid of him you should have seen him when I threw a fake spider at him not to mention a cricket:dgrin:
 
Heck no, I'm to busy running the other way. Actually my boyfriend and his 15 yr old son were joking around about getting spiders as pets. "Oh they are pretty, maybe I need to get 4 (that was before I added my caramel girl this past weekend)" because that's what I say about my snakes. EW!
 
the spider is an black and yellow argiope. they are part of the orb weavers and related to the garden spider. I use to see them all the time in GA. I use to take my kids into the woods to just to see what we could see. pretty common spider in the woods.
