I'm a rabid fan of animal documentaries, so I've been adding quite a few to my Netflix queue lately. Last night I watched a really great one, so I thought I'd make a recommendation.
It is from the Nature series and it is called "Nature: Spiders and Snakes". It is excellent! The first half is about a spider expert (Martin Nicholas) traveling the world to see different types of spiders. His enthusiasm is on a Steve Irwin level, and it is easy to see that he genuinely loves spiders.
The second half wasn't quite as exciting, but it was interesting. It is a show about venom research in the medical field. I was hoping for more entertainment like in the spider segment, but I guess a little education never hurt anyone.
