does a really big viv stress out hatchlings i thought it woudlnt because when there born in the wild thats a big viv lol but my friend said it does?

Yes it can cause stress.

If you have yours in a big viv just make sure there are lots of places for it to hide.

Well true it's a big world out there. But the big world does provide a lot of hiding spots for a new born. So if you decide to go with a large viv, just make sure you have ground cover and three to five hides.
