Striped Opal '03

COMPOSITE CORNS

erroneous pickle
I was breeding triple hets and beats the odds to produce this guy.
1:64, I thought I'd be trying forever!
Anyway, this is the first I have produced and have only produced one since.
I have lots of possible hets for next year though!
I would be interested in finding out what these snakes (opal stripes in general) start looking like as adults as well as individual variation. This guy is pinkish white now and was an eerie, translucent pink as a baby.
Your pics would be appreciated!

Here are a few Striped Opals that I have produced. It is very difficult for me to capture their true colors with my older digital camera. (Two years old and obsolete, good grief!) I haven’t photographed many of my adults, but there are a few yearling photos attached.

My favorite Striped Opal that I have produced was traded for a Striped Hypo Lav. His photo is the largest one in this group. He was extremely pink as a hatchling and I can only imagine what he looks like today.
