Stripes on underside of tail

My male anery has a regular checkered belly except for the last two inches. The last two inches has a stripe on each side. Does that mean anything or is that totally normal?
 
I have two snakes that also have stripes, just starting right after the vent. I would say that its normal, not sure why it does that though.
 
Mine does also. Except about half way down the checkers get a bit mental and lots of orange specks start appearing.
