It was feeding time today and after reading up a lot on feeding here and in the new books I received, the corn bibles part 1 and 2, I figured I would try feeding my snake 2 pinkies to see where he was at in feeding. I read that at the size hes at he should probably be ready for a larger size mouse. To test, I fed him one pinky and after he finished that one I immediately placed another in there with him to see if he would eat that one too. He ate the first one within 10 minutes and 2 minutes after I placed the second one in there with him it was nothing but a bulge in his stomache. I am very excited and from now on I will finish the pinkies I have 2 at a time and move on to fuzzies. He is progressing very well and I can't wait for the reptile show in a couple of weeks where I plan on buying another corn of opppsite sex of mine (as soon as I find out what this one is) to grow them both and mate them when the time is right probably in a couple of years. Since I've had the snake this has been the biggest moment for me. He is becoming a very good feeder with a little of coersion and is becoming very good with my handling of him. I can't wait to breed him and see what type of hatchlings will come of him and his mate. Sorry for the rambling on, but after my daughter this is like a second child and I'm the proud daddy.
 
It's exciting to see them move up to fuzzies, a sign your babies are growing up. I love watching them get longer, fatter, and prettier. Sounds like you are doing a great job as a new snake daddy. Congrats. :cheers:
