Sugar gliders and corn snakes in the same room

Ive already asked once but I think I went to the wrong section and decided more people may know in this one.

My mom has a Sugar Glider. It's a little marsupial that doesn't get overly big but you have to worry about stressing probably more than a snake being they are known to kill themselves. I don't think the corn would be bothered by the glider but both are known to be very good escape artists only gliders can learn the lock systems of some cages.
While I have to option of other rooms they are far colder and neither do very well in the cold.
Does anyone have an idea of how either is going to react to the other? Sugar gliders are the natural prey for many snakes though they are from very different parts of the world and I'm pretty sure this sugar glider is already far larger than any corn Snake could eat I worry that they may have a negative affect on each other from across the room. Also we let to sugar glider out and let it run around the room every night because it requires it to fly around though his play area is opposite the area I plan on keeping the snake.
 
What the temp of a cooler room? If it's 68 F or so it will be fine for your snake as long as the end over the uth is 85. After all they are mostly from temperate areas. My inclination would be separate rooms, but I don't know never having had a sugar glider.
 
That room gets pretty cold I couldn't tell you exactly how cold. I'll have to put a thermometer in there and see to be sure
 
If anything I'd expect the snake smell to be more stressful to the sugar glider than any stress to the snake. But my highschool biology teacher kept sugar gliders along with Delicious Monty the ball python in the same classroom without any apparent ill effect. As long as the snake is secure, there's probably no harm.

That's one thing about sugar gliders. If they don't like something they will let you know. I agree with you I could see more stress out of the glider but I wanted to be sure if was a safe for either as far as health goes. The sugar glider doesn't constantly stay in the room either. When everyone goes to bed the cage it moved into a bedroom so it won't make a ton of noise. Fortunately both being more nocturnal that does kind of reduce potential for stress in either
 
I kept hedgehogs and even gerbils in my snake room without issue. Both of which were also bred in the room...never stressed anything out as far as I could tell
 
That's good to know. I suppose as long as they are separate they can't really do any harm to each other
