this year is my first year of breeding snakes , and as normal i buyed a few adults just to get an idea if is dificult to breed them , normaly after a lot of reading on the forum , buyed a book , videos , trying a few friends that alredy breed them , and i got 3 clutches , and other 2 to come , i feel the eggs in the females , well they are amels and anerys , i was just curious did you had surprises from your snakes ? i mean did you buyed snakes with hiden hets and after that to get other colors than you were aspecting? im curious about this , i still have 21 days and im excited , about 50 eggs .

It depends on who bred them and if they were line bred or not. You'll never know what you get if you don't know hets. I'll be going blind with my first breeding too.

well i wasent asking what i will get , i understand genetics , i was thinking about snakes at witch you dont know the hets and have surprises when they hatch.

I bred an Amel no known hets to a pinstripe motley het stripe and got exactly what I expected: Normals het Amel mot or stripe. My first breeding. I hope to pickup a couple normals with unknown hets from Don sooner or later. That will be way fun!
