i recently noticed my adult creamsicle has this swollen spot on her throat. its fairly big and she never had it before. i first notived it after she ate. i assumed it was jus a little stressed out from eating but it hasnt gone away. im starting to get concerned. has anyone seen this before? i touched it to see if it was hard abut its not. in fact after i touched it, it kinda went away but then it just expanded again. i dont have a picture of it at the moment but i will try to take one tomorow.

It's quite rare but seems to be linked to the shedding process if previous posts here are anything to go by. My guess is that you're due to see a shed in the next week or two. Those who've observed it, report it disappearing once the shed has completed.

I'd sit tight and see what happens.

yesss!!! after julz shed she still had the swollen bulge on her throat but one day later she is fine!!!! she has been looking great ever since!

Good news! Thanks for the update. I've never seen it in any of mine and I'd have kittens if I hadn't read other posts here. I guess this is where an internet community is invaluable!
