Tank Question

I'm getting ready to set up a tank for a corn snake and I have a question about dimensions. I've got a ~28 gallon fish tank that a relative is letting me have, but it was designed for viewing creatures more suited to a vertical environment. its base is 30x12inches, will this be deep enough for a full grown corn snake to live comfortably in? It is 17 inches tall, but I gather that corn snakes are not as big on climbing as ball pythons and green snakes.

Well I just looked up the dimensions of a 20 gallon long (which is the minimum for an adult) and it's 30x12x12 so since the floor space is identical you should be good :D
Don't hesitat to decorate the top of the cage as well, a lot of us have found out that they do like to climb on occasion.

depends on how big you want it i have a 3x2x2 for my year and a half year old, and a 4x2x2 for my full grown male and he minces round and round
