Tessa

So I've been a little worried about my girl Tessa for the last couple days. I fed both my girls on Sunday and I noticed she had gained like 3 grams but I thought it was due to poo but unfortunately right after I fed her, when I was putting her back in her tank I noticed her eyes were all cloudy! So she's definitely in blue but was super aggressive towards her meal and even constricted the fuzzy! I've just been a little worried about regurgitation but I've been checking on her every few hours ever since and she seems to have digested normally.....YAY

I would not worry about it. I actually have a picture of Rufus on my profile page eating while "Blue." He has shed 4 times with me so far, and on 2 of the times he accepted a mouse, and on 2 of the sheds he refused his mouse. I think the snake knows what he needs. So if your snake accepted the mouse it will probably be ok.

The big deal is, their skin gets tight and when they get ready to shed it could cause a regurgitation. But your snake just went blue, so she's probably still 4 to 10 days from actually shedding. If that is correct, she will probably poop that mouse before she sheds. If you are really concerned about her feeding, it would be the "Next Feeding" you should probably skip.

Alright she is supposed to eat again on Friday so I will probably skip that one and wait for after her shed!! Thank you I've been a little worried and that makes me feel much better! Her eyes are still cloudy and she usually clears right up for a few days before she actually sheds!!
