Hey there
I'm currently placing thermometer's in my tank. I've hotglued a probe for one of them in the middle of the glass above the UTH.
I wanted to have another two stuck inside each of the hides on the warm and cold side.
However, the hide on the warm side will be placed halfway onto the UTH and it just dawned on me that it would probably be wasted having both thermometers that close together, wouldn't it?!
Is it enough to place one on the UTH, one in the cold hide and have a thermometer/hygrometer combo in the middle of the tank to measure the overall temperature? I am reusing an old aquarium, it's almost as tall as it's long, so I feel I should keep track of the temperature throughout and not just on the bottom two halves. I'm hoping the snake will utilize the height as well and not just the ground.
I am so stressed out about getting the temperatures right for the incoming baby, so any advice is welcomed
