They Finially Ate!!!

After trying everything in and out of the book and forums, I took two pinkies, thawed in hot water, and then rubbed them all over my crested geckos. The geckos thought they were getting a massage. I rubbed bellies, head, everywhere. I gave one to my Opal and one to my Hypo Bloodred. Put them each in a little container with their pinkie, and low and behold, went back an hour latter and they both ate! My Opal hadn't eaten since I got her from Rich 2 months ago, and my Hypo Bloodred had eaten twice and stopped. This has made my weekend. Thank God for Ziggy and Godiva, my Crested Geckos!

Hi Mo...Long time...did you ever get your little lav hatchlings eating? I did find the Lizard Maker at the timonium show, but that didn't intrest these guys at all. I will keep it on hand for the future though.

I got most of them eating fine. Two didn't make it though, which was sad. This was the first year I've had such a problem. I still have a whole pile 'o babies around though and everybody is doing really well now, eating me out of house and home. Some of these little guys are looking awesome, I'm particularly fond of the motleys.
