mIdDlE aGeD mEmBeR!
I just got an unrelated pair of hypo snows from Don at South Mountain... they are adorable. Both have little heart shapes on their heads!

Hopefully I will be able to post pics of Valentino and Valentine (and my other kids) soon!

Yay!
I have a little amel juvie and he has a heart shaped pattern and his name is Valentine too!
Actually it's Creamy-Valentine b/c the people who were keeping him for me named him Creamy (I hadn't thought of a name for him at that time) and then I came up with Valentine.
Congratulations and try to post pics soon!

Dart guy!

Where the heck have you been LOL!

The Hypo snows are also referred to as coral snows. Go check out KS http://forum.kingsnake.com/corn/messages/56723.html and see pics of Amanda E's snake. I don't think they all come out with that amount of coral pink color but the genetics are interesting enough and a good combination with what I already have. I think I may have to thin down my bunch a little... perhaps let go of a few... hubby thinks that the room is looking a bit crowded... but the hypo snows are a definite good addition. Of course, I have not idea what any resulting offspring would be called... I will have to consult the genetics wizards for that advice LOL... Like when I cross the Hypo snow to my Hypo het anery stripe... or to my Amel het motley... ha ha!

With mine, the male already is much more coral pink than a regular snow hatchling. The female looks more typical but has the most gorgeous lacy pattern of white over the pink. One of the prettiest snow hatchlings I have seen. It will be really interesting to see how they mature. Dart Guy... I may beg to have you take some pics of my snakes soon if I can't get this camera thing figured out. I can't seem to get any decent shots of mine with the camera I have. I am going to try again this weekend...

Thanks to both of you for your comments...

too bad about maybe having to thin the herd - If I can help by housing them here let me know - LOL -
let me know about the camera thing

still we have to match up our miamis and maybe others to mix in new genes
