this is?

possibly a amel stripe some do loose there stripes as they age or they become very faded. Suppose it could be a blood red amel too :)

I'm no expert...

but I'm gonna say normal stripe with a very light pattern.

Just a guess, really, doesn't look like the right color of red for an amel.

Only problem is... normals don't have red eyes, J_Daniels... :)

It's not a normal stripe, but an amel stripe is a distinct possibility... a good belly picture would help determine whether there might be bloodred influence instead.

hmmm...

I didn't even notice the eye color, I'm still learning this stuff you know :D .

Still looks a little dark for Amel though, don't you think?

its a amel but i don't see a stripe on his body
the belly is 1/3 white
the rest is deep red
i post a pic soon posseble...
and i'm thinking of a not pure corn maybe some sinaloae influence...

Wim?

It would be cool if it was an Amel Bloodred or even Striped Amel Bloodred. You had him paired up with a Charchoal right? What did you hatch?

Marcel

If the belly looks like this it is an Amel stripe or Motley:

If the belly looks like this it is a Bloodred:

What a shame. But one thing is nice. Your Charcoal is het Amel and Het Motley. That is what you have learned. ;)

Btw, I don't think that the red one is a Hybrid. From that picture it looks pure corn to me. And a very nice one. When do you have some more pictures?
