To feed or just wait?

Bigger house=more snakes!
Hi everyone, my snake is about to shed. His eyes were cloudy, this morning they were clear again. Today he is due to eat. Would you feed him or not? This is my first shed with him. Thanks. :crazy02:

I personally give mine in blu the option to eat if they want. My adults will always eat. With the hatchlings its about 97% that will. Good luck..

Agree with Rich, it is up to you. I usually attempt to feed unless they are really in the blue phase. Some of mine eat and some don't. There are also those people who never attempt to feed until snake sheds, after blue.

Mine stayed in a tight little ball in the palm of my hand, so I didn't even offer the pinky I had ready. Probably should have just to see if he'd take it, but he seemed so 'out of sorts' that I just put him back next to his hide. He 'missed' the hole trying to get back in. A couple days later he shed and ate like a champ and was 'right as rain.'

Congrats! I am one of those people who wait until they shed if I notice they are about to before thawing a mouse. If it is already thawed I offer it, and give it to another snake if the one that is about to shed refuses it.
