I have my mice colonies (two 1.3 colonies) set up in an outside shed. I live in SoCal so the temps in the shed only get to about 58 at night and 70 in the day. Are the night temps too cold? I have had one colony set up for a month now and no signs of pregnancy. I have placed an under tank heat pad under the cages and despite a thick layer of towels it seems it gets it too warm albiet just one side. (and they stay on that side)

Any advice from the expers will be great!
