Transitioning to Weanlings

I recently transitioned both my corns Zeus and Athena from hoppers to weanlings. When I was feeding them hoppers Zeus was very aggressive and would constrict them even though they were dead, while Athena would eat them, but a lot more tentatively. Now, Zeus shows no interest in the weanlings and Athena became aggressive leaving me very confused. I also switched their tank substrate from aspen to reptile carpet, so started feeding them in their tanks. Should I start feeding Zeus in the plastic container again? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don’t think it sounds like anything to be concerned about. The snakes have experienced some changes that they are adjusting to. The weanlings may smell different or look different than the hoppers. I’d just maintain business a usual and let them adjust to it.
