Transporting inside his viv?

So I tried searching to find an answer for this, and I did find some good info, but I was looking for some more specific information.

I'm going out of town for a couple weeks this coming weekend, and I wanted to bring my baby corn up to my mom's for her to take care of him while I'm gone. It's only a 30 minute drive, so I was wondering if it would be ok for me to just stick his viv in my car, make sure it's stable and not gonna move around or tip or anything, and then just set him up at my mom's. It seems like never moving him from his home would maybe make the transition a little easier for him, and I know that the top would stay locked down and everything.

He has a pretty chill nature overall. I've had him for a little over a month, he's never tried striking, he's calm when I go to pick him up, I've been surprised at how great he's been so far, so I think he would handle this pretty well, I just wanted to get a general opinion to make sure this wouldn't be a terrible terrible idea.

Thanks in advance!

I guess you could do that for such a short ride. I would put the snake in a cloth bag for the trip tho. You just never know, what if you had a accident and try to keep it out of direct sun light.
